This is a visualization of the top Spotify songs from 2010 - 2019. Each year is represented by a pie chart, in which songs that belong to the same genre are grouped together and assigned the same color. From these charts, we are able to gain some insight about how music trend has changed in the 2010s.

The main takeaway from this chart is that dance pop ruled the music market for the most of the 2010s, but in 2019 pop took over and became the most popular genre.
